COVID-19 Rules and Regulations for the 2022 Season
Chicago Park District Covid 19 / Mask Policy
Effective February 28, 2022, face coverings will not be required for Park District patrons, with limited exceptions detailed below.
While face coverings are not required in most settings, we strongly recommend that individuals continue to wear face coverings if they are unvaccinated or immunocompromised, or if they are interacting with people that are unvaccinated, including children under the age of five.
Many patrons and employees may choose to continue to wear a mask – please be kind to anyone that makes this choice. We fully support and encourage any patron or employee that makes the decision to continue wearing a mask.

2022 Intermediate Softball
Softball Intermediate Information
Intermediate Girls Softball is the first softball league after Teeball. Players in the Intermediates League are in 1st and 2nd grade, and the format is coach pitch. An 11" RIF ball (reduced injury factor) is used. Teams are selected by a draft.
Approximately 12 games are played, plus double elimination playoffs. Weekday games are at Sauganash Park, and Saturday games are at Brooks Park or Indian Road Park. The season starts the last week in April and concludes with the Championship Game played during the ESAA picnic at Wildwood Park in July.
League Playoff Schedule:
As the playoffs progress we will update the brackets as games are played.
Be sure to note time and field games are to be played on before heading to the game.

Awards Schedule:
Awards wiil be handed out at the year end picnic.
Locate your team and note your award time and stage location. Please be sure to be at you location 15 minutes prior to your award time.
